Here is the twist: the platform currently routes generation through third-party AI music providers, with the official proprietary model scheduled for integration later. In the browser studio, you get two main ways to work. Simple Mode takes a mood preset and a quick prompt capped at 500 characters and turns them into a finished track. Custom Mode gives you hands-on control: paste original lyrics, designate vocal genders, or lock in instrumental-only arrangements.

Key production features include:

• Full-track generation and extension: Whip up original pieces from text prompts or visual uploads (Image to Song), with options to seamlessly extend audio segments toward eight minutes in length.
• Stem separation: Split vocals and instrumental backing tracks into distinct audio files whenever you need a clean remix or a karaoke cut.
• Lyric visualizers and sync: Generate word-timed subtitle files in LRC, SRT, or TXT formats on the fly, and render synchronized lyric videos in MP4 or WebM formats directly in the browser.
• Audio to MIDI transcription: Pull melodic and note pitch data straight from your library tracks for arrangement analysis.

A critical technical detail lies in its MIDI export format. Unlike tools such as AI Music Maker or CraftMusic AI that output standard binary `.mid` files or supply interactive piano rolls, Happy Shrimp Music extracts note data strictly as structured JSON. You will need third-party scripts or custom parsers to translate those values into standard sequencer clips. Also worth noting: prompting safety filters block names of copyrighted artists, though at least your spent credits get refunded automatically.
